Peer Mediation

CRC empowers students to help their peers solve conflicts by training them in peer mediation. We help guide schools to create the structure for a successful program, so students are well trained and supported in helping their classmates more constructively navigate conflict.  Students learn and practice listening skills, how to ask open questions, and how to help their fellow students brainstorm appropriate solutions for their conflicts.  Activities are adapted for different age groups from elementary through high school and beyond.  Our staff helped develop the national standards for peer mediation programs created by the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), which are practiced in our programming.
Creating a peer mediation program at your school can be a powerful way to reduce conflicts and create a culture of cooperation. If you’d like CRC to support your school in creating a peer mediation program, call us at (845) 574-4225 or email us at inquiries@crc-global.org.
